The use of annotations such as descriptions, comments and explanations while displaying designs helps to present designs in a manner that is easy to understand. Other applications do not always have this capability. Also, MockVault can increase design approval rates by guiding the users clients through the progression of the design. However, some designers would also like to upload videos. A approval button is approved but the in reality, approval processes may not always be straightforward. Hence, clicking on an approve button may not always be sufficient.
The application provides information about recent designs that users have uploaded and recent activities that users have engaged in. Menus are clearly displayed including a list of recent clients. The dashboard approach also makes it easy for users to use the application. MockValut also provides simple links for editing existing designs or creation new mock-ups.
Users create an account to use MockVault and are able to use a username and password to log into the application. Users can also take a tour to learn more about the application. There is a free trial period for paid plans. In addition, there is a free plan that provides users with the ability to have only one design and usage of MockVault's logos and domain. An upgrade from the free plan to paid plans can occur at anytime.
Before or after a trial period, users can sign up for a free plan. However, the free plan has limited features. There are paid plans that are also available including the Lite Plan which has no custom domains and users use their own logos. The Lite Plan is the cheapest paid plan. Other paid plans include the Heavy Plan and the Unlimited Plan.
